Welcome Wagon Has Something for Everyone
New to the area? Looking for some new connections? The Welcome Wagon Club of Newburgh
is open to new residents or people who are looking to make our area a better place to live. We
offer many opportunities for our members to get involved in the community. We also offer several
different activity groups to help our members build bridges to new friendships.

Our charity for the year is CJ's Bus. CJ's Bus is a rapid-response, self-contained mobile
recreation unit which is deployed to disaster sites nationwide in order to keep children distracted
and entertained in a safe group environment in the immediate aftermath phase of natural or
man-made disasters. We will be hosting several events throughout the year to raise money for

Christmas is right around the corner. Let us help you get in the Christmas spirit by attending our
annual Holiday Meeting. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 2nd, at the Newburgh
United Methodist Church. There will be an ornament exchange (bring a $10 ornament, wrapped),
as well as a cookie exchange (bring 3 dozen cookies and an empty container if interested). We
will also have a gourmet hot chocolate bar for your sipping pleasure. As always, doors open at
6:30 p.m., and the meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. Babysitting is available ($5 for 1 child, $8 for 2
children, and $10 for 3 or more).
