"A Bridge to New Friendships"
The annual charity auction was held in November, and it was a HUGE success. We had
tremendous support from our sponsors and the community at large. Attendance was at an
all-time high, and everyone was feeling generous! The auction raised over $4000 to benefit CJs
Bus! Wow!!! The Welcome Wagon Club of Newburgh would like to thank everyone that supported
the auction through donations, purchasing auction items, and giving time to set-up. We would
also like to thank Larry Marschel for being our auctioneer again this year. Finally, a big thank you
to Monica Butts for doing such a tremendous job organizing the auction. Good job!

The annual Casino Night for Welcome Wagon is fast approaching, and it promises to be a great
time. Casino Night is another fund-raising event sponsored by Welcome Wagon, and the
proceeds will benefit CJs Bus. Casino Night is scheduled for Sat., March 6th, starting at 6:30 p.m.
The event will be held at an alternative location. Please click on the following link to get the
address/directions: Casino Night. There will be a wide variety of games to choose from,
including darts, pool, 50/50, and roulette just to name a few. Chips will be sold (20 chips/$5).
Please bring a dish to share, and the event is BYOB. Prizes will be awarded. Spouses and
friends are welcome!

2009-2010 Charity
Our charity for the year is CJ's Bus. CJ's Bus is a rapid-response, self-contained mobile recreation
unit which is deployed to disaster sites nationwide in order to keep children distracted and
entertained in a safe group environment in the immediate aftermath phase of natural or man-made
disasters. We will be hosting several events throughout the year to raise money for our charity. For
